三妹, pronounced san mei, means ‘three sisters’ in Chinese.
San Mei Gallery is the face of an ongoing venture, working across art and education in the UK and China. The gallery opened in Summer 2017, and is located in the heart of Loughborough Junction on the site of what was originally 'The Loughborough Hotel'.
The gallery seeks to both promote and facilitate emerging artistic practice, through our exhibition and studio spaces, residencies and events. Our cross-disciplinary programme aims to be accessible to both our local South London community and wider networks.
San Mei is run in conjunction with 87 Hackford Road, a Georgian townhouse where Vincent van Gogh once lived. Visit vangoghhouse.co.uk to find out more.
